October Art Along the Hudson Art Show
Art Along the Hudson – 7 Cities, 7 Celebrations – presented their fall art show with an opening reception on Friday October 2 from 5:30 -7:30 at Cunneen-Hackett, 9 Vassar Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. As part of the Hudson Quadricentennial Walkway Opening in Poughkeepsie, this event provided an opportunity to see samples of the Hudson River’s growing new and contemporary art scene. The reception included light refreshments plus a Laser Show compliments of Linda Law. The show was open to the public until October 30th.
The artshow curators were: Karen Dorsky, co-director of Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Programs, a not-for-profit contemporary art exhibition space in Long Island City, Queens (www.dorsky.org) and part-time Accord resident, George Donskoj, gallery owner the Donskoj and Co. in Kingston, and Beth Wilson, art critic, curated the show. They have selected artwork from the cities – paintings, photography, mixed media and more. |
