Art Along The Hudson 7th Annual Kick-Off Celebration and Art Ahow April 29, 2010
A Seventh Year Celebration of Art Along the Hudson
HOSTED BY New Paltz Third Saturdays at the Dorsky Museum at SUNY New Paltz on April 29, 2010, from 5:30-7:30pm
This is the 7th annual Art Along the Hudson kick-off event and includes a very special art show highlighting the talent of the many artists in the nine communities. Hosted at the Dorsky Museum, government officials, business and tourism leaders, educators, media representatives, principals from art organizations, artists and art enthusiasts will gather together to celebrate the vitality of the art scene in the Hudson Valley region on April 29, 2010 5:30 - 7:30.
Due to space restrictions, only two pieces from each of the 9 Communities were chosen and it was a hard choice given the many entrees. Thanks to all the artists that did apply and congratulations to those that were accepted.
The jurors were Brian Wallace, Curator, The Dorsky Museum; Ariel Shanberg, Executive Director, The Center for Photography at Woodstock and Mille Weinman, Interior Designer. Here are the images that they chose - the top 3 given awards:
