Newburgh, NY - The Ann Street Gallery is pleased to present its newest exhibition Bill Yost: A Retrospective. The Ann Street Gallery invites you to the Artist Reception on Saturday, February 25 from 6-9 pm.
The exhibition is on view through Saturday, April 21, 2012. The exhibition was curated by Virginia Walsh, Director of the Ann Street Gallery. The Ann Street Gallery is a nonprofit art gallery specializing in contemporary emerging and established artists. The gallery is located at 104 Ann Street in Newburgh, and hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 am-5:00 pm and Friday through Saturday 11:00 am-5:00 pm. The Ritz Theater is pleased to present the world's most famous mentalist, The Amazing Kreskin on Saturday, March 24 with two performances at 3 PM and 8PM in the Ritz Theater Lobby at 107 Broadway in Newburgh. Kreskin promises to find his hidden check or forfeit his fee!
The Amazing Kreskin, a bona fide mentalist, has been captivating audiences for more than six decades, with showman's flair and comedian's wit! His very name has become an integral part of pop culture throughout the world, invoked in comedy clubs, comic strips, print stories, and TV shows.
In 2008, Tom Hanks produced and co-starred with John Malkovich in "The Great Buck Howard" which was fashioned after the Amazing Kreskin's life. After over 50 years of performing, Kreskin has a new cult following. To quote David Letterman, "Kreskin should sue the producers of the TV show, "The Mentalist" for stealing his act. He's the best mentalist in the world and he's not acting!" Kreskin can tell people things about themselves that only a close family member or friend would know!
For his performance in Newburgh, Amazing Kreskin has asked that his check be hidden somewhere in the Ritz Theater Lobby during the show. He will attempt find it and if he fails, he will forfeit his fee. In addition Kreskin will offer $1,000,000.00 to anybody that can prove that he employs paid secret assistants or confederates in any phase of his program to help him perform his mentalist "effects."

Taylor's Traditional Irish Cabaret is a spectacular showcase of Irish entertainment at its very best, captivating audiences with a unique blend of music, song, laugher and dance.This spectacular show is produced by one of Ireland's foremost producers Stuart O'Connor. Stuart is well established as a dynamic and highly successful producer of Irish musical theatre and cabaret under the auspices of Spotlight Productions. Inventively choreographed by national dance star Ciarán Keating, the show will feature dazzling dance routines performed by Ireland's most talented dancers. The dancers will thrill audiences as they tap with exuberance to the musical accompaniment of the accordion, uilleann pipes and piano.
Every heart will be touched by the stunning renditions of Irish songs by the unforgettable voices of soprano Emer Hartnett and Irish tenor Paul Hennessy. You will have musical memories to cherish, long after the lights have gone down. Irish ballad singer Andrew McCarthy captures the true spirit of Ireland with his lively renditions of traditional Irish songs such as Rocky Road to Dublin and Whiskey in the Jar. The musical ensemble is led by Musical Director Pat Marnane with accordion player Ailbe Grace and uilleann pipes played by renowned piper Tommy Keane.
The prestigious Irish cabaret has entertained audiences from every corner of the globe for the past 35 years and continues to go from strength to strength.

The euphonious name Innisfree was chosen for its inspiring literary origin; it also has a regional association with the lovely landscaped park in Millbrook, New York. The sentiment expressed in Yeats' poem "Lake Isle of Innisfree" evokes the peace and centeredness that the Trio strives to convey in its performances.
