Oil Paintings by Andrew Lynch

Andrew Lynch first began drawing and painting while in junior high
and high school, where he received numerous school awards.
Following high school, Andrew studied art at Pratt Instute, the Art
students league of New York, and the Frank Riley School of Art. Andrew
was also mentored by famed painter illustrator , Peter Helck, at Mr.
Helck’s residence/summer studio in Boston Corners, New York, for several years.
While in the Air Force, Andrew also studied art in Italy.
For a number of years, Andrew devoted his full attention and time to a
career in the insurance industry. He and his wife Betty, are the parents of
two beautiful daughters and one beautiful granddaughter.
Andrew’s long-time interest in art recently resurfaced after many years of
inactivity, and he became a menber of the Barrett House Art Center in
Poughkeepsie, New York, where he has exhibited his work on numerous occasions.
Andrew currently attends Woodstock School of Art to improve his painting abilities.
He and his wife reside in Rhinebeck, New York, where he maintains his studio.
